Putting together an outfit for a festival can be tough. You want to look great, but at the same time, you just want to be comfortable in your own style. Our writer Alea Zulkaply shares with us some tips on how to pick out a great look for LOVELIFEST!

As a writer, I feel like I am obliged to be subjective and not to preach when it comes to style. I love fashion, of course, and I do look at current trends and what my favourite It Girls (Hi, Gigiiii!) are wearing, except that I’d pick and choose the items that capture my eyes and that I think would look good on me and if I really love them, you’ll see me in them forever – even if they’re “out of style”, whatever that means.
I am, basically, a firm believer of wearing what makes me comfortable. However, just for the fun of it, I mean it IS a festival after all, some of you may wonder, “WHAT DO I WEAR?” Do you dress up? Sure. Or should you dress down? By all means, go ahead. Can you be Vanessa Hudgens on all three Coachella weekends? YOU GO, GIRL.
It is entirely up to you as long as you are in something that you are comfortable to be in, makes you feel pretty and/or handsome and that can seamlessly take you from having yummy street food standing up by the food trucks, cycling or just rolling on the grass to getting sandwiched in between people jamming to your favourite music. There’s no need to just take my words for it. Here are some ideas for everyone (Hijabis, you might want to read on for extra tips!).

YUNA FESTIVAL STYLE
Yuna has been to a couple of festivals, so she probably knows what she's doing when it comes to her festival get up! Check out her looks!
It has been mentioned more than once in this article: BE YOURSELF. Fashion tips are for fun... And for those who seriously have no idea what to wear and really need some ideas. I write this for fun and for those who really have no idea what to wear and really need some ideas. Or a push in the right direction. Or a nudge of encouragement. If you already have in mind what you're going to wear, how you're going to look like, good for you! You are not required to impress anyone but yourself. Come to the festival in what makes you comfortable, even if it is jeans and a plain tshirt, heck, even if it includes a velvet cape and a faux-gold crown! Come with an outfit that your friends are going to say, "This is SO YOU." As long as in your minds, you're slayin'.
